‘Shapes and figures have personality in my universe, they mean something. Each pose I paint has its own mood or temperament. It is information in them, just like the letters of an alphabet, and maybe they have function too. If they can make you feel something. The same thing goes with colors of course, they are an ocean of information. And the colors or shapes that have integrity or a certain contradictory to them, these are the most interesting.’
